Sending Gratitude Certificates by email will be retired on February 15, 2021. You can read more about why we made this decision in this blogpost.
We understand that email may be one of the primary channels through which you communicate with your clients/customers, and that you may have previously relied on B1G1's system to email Gratitude Certificates to your clients.
Going forward, we would recommend these workarounds so that you can still email Gratitude Certificates to those you are giving on behalf on:
1. Use the Gratitude Certificate feature in your new B1G1 account to design the certificates, and attach the downloaded PDF file in your emails.
The printable Gratitude Certificate editor in your new B1G1 account works very similarly to the email Gratitude Certificate editor. Once you have customised your Gratitude Certificate, you can download it as a PDF file and then attach that document in your thank-you emails.
You can also save the customised certificate as a template so that you can access and tweak them easily for subsequent emails.
By downloading your Gratitude Certificate as a PDF (or converting it into an image if you prefer), you can be much more versatile in your thank-you emails to your clients, as you are able to design the emails separately, and sign off with your usual email signature.
To reduce the manual workload, you can also choose to send the Gratitude Certificate via mail merge or your own CRM / email automation tool.
2. Use another design tool to create your own email Gratitude Certificates
Most CRM or email automation tools would have built-in email design editors – so if you are intending to send Gratitude Certificates using those tools, you may simply decide to design the Gratitude Certificate within those editors.
Alternatively, you may consider using other design tools like Canva to create an alternative PDF/JPG Gratitude Certificate, and then attach it to your emails before sending. Here are some certificate design templates that you can consider from Canva.
As this feature will be retired on February 15, please log into your legacy B1G1 account to retrieve the texts used in your email Gratitude Certificate templates and save them in a separate location, such as the print Certificates in your new B1G1 account, Canva, or your own CRM / email automation tool.
The Certificate texts and images will no longer be accessible after the retirement of the legacy system.
