You can list almost all types of projects, and we do have a list of criteria that is easy to fulfil. When your organization is approved, our team will help you with listing your projects :)
We have also found that it’s most meaningful for our members if your programs are broken down into discrete units that people can support.
For example, there are 2 ways a student meal program could be broken down into 3 separate impact levels on B1G1:
- the amount needed to provide meals for a student for a month, a week, and a single day; or
- the amount needed to provide 1, 10 and 100 meals for a student.
Listing projects in these ways makes them much more accessible for our members, and helps encourage contributions!
However, please note that projects with the following characteristics are discouraged:
- projects you are planning (but not currently working on)
- projects that involve spreading a particular religion
More details about this can be found in our Resource Centre.
